MFC Authentics and Framing will be holding our Annual Toy Drive again this holiday season. We are proud to announce our new partnership with the NFL Alumni Association and their Caring for Kids Program.

All toys collected during this year’s Toy Drive will be distributed to those children who benefit through the Caring for Kids Program. This year’s beneficiary will be the Burlington County DCP&P.  

“We are honored to be part of this year’s MFC Authentics and Framing Toy Drive,” said NFL Alumni CEO Beasley Reece. “We are happy to donate to such a worthwhile cause and look forward to brightening this holiday season for as many children possible.”

New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off or sent to: MFC Authentics and Framing, 1871 Route 70 East, Unit 7, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003. We will also accept cash donations which will be used to purchase additional toys for this holiday season.

After a Hall of Fame college football career at the University of North Texas, Reece was drafted by the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys in 1976. In 1977 Reece moved on to the New York Giants. During his six and a half highly successful seasons with the Giants, Reece served as the team’s defensive captain and was celebrated as one of the League’s fastest runners. In 1983, Reece continued his outstanding career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Retiring from the NFL in 1985, Reece began his sports broadcasting career at WTOG-TV in St. Petersburg, Florida as a sports reporter and anchor. After three years at WTOG, Reece went to WVIT-TV in Hartford, Connecticut where he earned 12 local Associated Press awards. He rejoined WTOG as sports director in 1997.
Reece added national broadcasting assignments to his list of accomplishments in 1990. He was a NFL game analyst for 14 years, splitting that time with NBC and CBS Sports. While with NBC, he served as a boxing commentator for the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain and the 1996 Olympic games in Atlanta, Georgia.
Active in the community, Reece has long supported a variety of charities, including the Boy Scouts of America (Beasley is a highly decorated Eagle Scout), Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Special Olympics and the American Heart Association. In addition, he volunteered many years of service as host of the Jersey Shore Boys Scouts Council Golf Tournament and the Urban Promise Golf Tournament, which raises money for youth summer programs in Camden, New Jersey.
A native of Waco, Texas, Reece is a talented singer and pianist, he has performed the National Anthem at several NFL games and for the Philadelphia 76ers.
Beasley Reece is a member of the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia and on Friday evening, November 16, 2012, he was inducted into the Broadcast Pioneers Hall of Fame.
Currently, he serves as the CEO of the National Football League Alumni Association, and is a long standing member of that esteemed organization’s Board of Directors. He has been married for 41 years to Paula Fitzpatrick Reece and they have two sons and two grandchildren.
